Impressive. This is one of the few DCnU books I pre-ordered right away. Really glad I did.
ReplyDeleteLooks really good. This one is going straight to the pull list.
ReplyDeleteNice work, Jimmy. Unlike the DC-produced trailers, this actually tells me something about the series.
ReplyDeleteLike it a lot but I wish the video was wider in size and had a better resolution so it could be seen in full screen. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's a great job !
thanks guys...This is one of the first times i used the program, so the ratio and quality issues need to be taken for sure.
ReplyDeleteI tried hard for it to "say" something.
YOu did a great job. captured the feel, and the action, and gave it a hell of a push.
ReplyDeleteNow this is what`s going to make me want to buy the first issue of All Star Western ( it go my ass into a seat that`s for sure !) ^_^ love the trailer it almost reminds me of an great low budget Italian spaghetti western from the late 60s staring one the greats (mister Eastwood :whom I see as your lead Jonah Hex )heck even having it take place in Gotham was a great choice ( so in short going to buy this along with stormwatch ) you Kick Ass sir ! :D
ReplyDeletehey,
ReplyDeletei'm one of the lapsed readers DC is trying to get back. i'm totally stoked about the new 52 and the variety of titles out there.
i was a big fan of Jonah back in his original series, and i've heard so many great things about your previous run. (i will get the trades, i promise.) i'm looking forward to ASW and Men of War probably more than any other title.
congrats on making it into the new DC, and best of luck. i will RT and post this trailer on Facebook. great job!
Nice. I'd already pre-ordered, but this was packed full of goodies that would have convinced me if I hadn't. Where did you search for/find your public domain music?
ReplyDeleteVery nice! For me, it seems to capture the "feel" of the old book as it transitions into the new title. Looking forward to picking this up, and I also heard you will be visiting my LCS the day it arrives, too! Hopefully I will get a chance to swing by and say hello!
ReplyDeleteWhich shop is that wayne?
ReplyDeleteColiseum of Comics in Orlando and the surrounding area; my LCS specifically is the Kissimmee shop. They've had posters up for a while promoting ASW and your visit.
ReplyDeleteWhy'd you call Jonah Hex a monster? He's got a conscience.
ReplyDeleteLooks to be an interesting new concept. I like the Gotham thing and I look forward to seeing the new characters as I know there will be plenty showing up. I don't follow comics as much as I used to, but I always make a point to find out what you, Gray and your various counterparts are up to in comics.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck from down Texas way.
Boy, I bet Jordi Benet could really rock it with these new Gotham scenes.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Just wish there was a HD version lying around
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the trailer! I thought Justin's came out pretty good as well.
ReplyDeleteWe'll put 'em on display at www.ComicBookTrailers.com. Hope it helps!
All-Star Western is one of the New 52 that I am looking forward to the most!
