Went to pay my respects to the master Joe Kubert. His work, his energy and he himself will be missed by many. Only a handful of people ever made me feel like a kid around them and Joe was that guy. I will miss the hell out of him.
As well, spent time with a friend going through a rough patch in her life and kept her company through some ups and downs and ups and so on. I missed a lot of work and other things, but she is one of my favorite people in the world, so I spare no expense of time and friendship and support. It is how we should all be with each other.
As well, this week we see ALL STAR WESTERN #12 out, so I hope you pick it up, and as well CREATOR-OWNED HEROES #3 if you missed it. I do this post out of love and include a plug now and again hoping some of you sexy fools will give one a shot. As well, solicited and ready for pre order is RETROVIRUS a graphic novel that you will not see on the shelves unless you preorder it. Trust me, this happened with Queen Crab and its going to happen again here.

The owner of my LCS passed away suddenly yesterday. As he was always urging me to try new things, I will grab CREATOR OWNED HEROES this week.

first and foremost....condolences Mr. Palmiotti...for both situations that have come up for you with your two friends. Mr. Kubert will definitely be missed.

I never met Joe, Jimmy, but I do recall growing up reading Sgt. Rock, and will miss him as well. This week, I'm unconditionally going w/#2, there's just something about that look in her eyes (and, well, that she's nekid).
